The all-electric Fiat 500e was redesigned in 2024 and rolls into 2025 with minimal changes.

The Fiat 500e is equipped with an electric motor that produces 117 horsepower, and 162 lb.-feet of torque mated to an automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. This combination delivers 141 miles of range.

The Fiat 500e is only available in one fully loaded trim with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, one-pedal regenerative 4-wheel disc brakes, a rear liftgate, bucket front seats, dual-zone climate control, an HD satellite radio, a 6-speaker sound system, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, voice activated navigation, cruise control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, mobile hotspot, 2 USB ports, wireless device charging, rear view camera and a sport steering wheel.

Safety features include active lane departure, rear parking sensors, front pedestrian detection, a driver attention alert, a traffic sign information system and seven airbags including a driver knee airbag.

The 500e is similar in size to a subcompact hatch. The smaller size of the 500e makes it a strong competitor in the EV market. The 500e is a reasonably priced option, it competes with the Nissan LEAF and Kia Niro EV. Its small size and range make it a worthy competitor in the subcompact electric segment.
