Volvo S90 Plug-In Hybrid
Volvo has earned a reputation as a builder of safe, luxurious, and dependable cars and the S90 Plug-in Hybrid furthers that tradition.
Two trims are offered on the S90 Plug-in Hybrid, the T8 Plus and T8 Ultra. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a 2.0L four-cylinder turbocharged engine capable of 312 horsepower mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The addition of the electric motors increases the power output to 455 horsepower.
The T8 Plus features 19-inch alloy wheels, a dual exhaust, 10-way power front seats, a 10-speaker sound system, dual-zone electronic climate control, heated front seats, leatherette upholstery, a power sunroof, adaptive cruise control, park assist, a 9-inch infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, 4 USB ports, and driver seat memory.
The T8 Ultra trim adds 20-inch alloy wheels, aluminum sills, ventilated power adjustable front seating with 4-way lumbar support, a 14-speaker sound system, and a heads-up display.
Safety has not been overlooked, in addition to anti-lock braking and stability and traction controls, a suite of 7 air bags surrounds the cabin. Advanced standard safety features include front collision mitigation with emergency braking, lane keeping assist, pedestrian/cyclist/animal detection and OnCall telematics, which can remotely unlock or start the car and notify first responders in an emergency. Additionally, Pilot Assist pairs semi-autonomous self-steering, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
