Toyota Tundra 4WD
For 2026 the Toyota Tundra is offered in five trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, and 1794 Edition. All trims come standard with a V6 engine. The Tundra is available in many configurations to meet different truck owner's needs, with 2WD or 4WD, three cab styles (double cab, double cab long bed and CrewMax), three bed lengths, three wheelbases and two different V6 engines.
In addition, the Tundra Hybrid is available with 2WD or 4WD with one cab style (CrewMax), two bed lengths, two wheelbases, with the same V6 engine.
The 3.4L twin-turbo V6 makes 389 horsepower and 479 lb-feet of torque and is standard on all models or the i-Force MAX hybrid V6 that makes 437 horsepower and 583 lb-feet of torque, along with a 10-speed automatic transmission for both engine set-ups. The Tundra is available in a rear-wheel drive with an electronic controlled brake slip differential, or a 4-wheel drive with an electronically controlled transfer case and the same electronic controlled brake slip differential.
The Double Cab offers smaller rear doors for occasional back-seat passengers, and the big CrewMax brings full-size rear doors and seating comparable to those offered in big SUVs. CrewMax models also have a unique reclining and sliding rear seat; double cabs also get a folding seat bottom that allows for an under-rear seat storage area.
Three bed sizes are available depending on the Tundra chosen: a 5.5-foot short bed, a 6.5-foot standard bed or an 8.1-foot-long bed. The steel tailgate is designed to be opened and closed with just two fingers, and there is also an available deck rail system for more individualized cargo arrangements.
Engineered for durability, every 2026 Tundra is built on a high-strength, fully boxed steel-ladder frame. Standard with a tow hitch receiver, it offers a formidable maximum towing capacity of up to 12,000 lbs. when properly equipped.
The Tundra ranges from basic to very luxurious inside depending on the trim level, starting at the spartan SR model and going all the way up to the very well-appointed Platinum or 1794 Edition. Inside, all models feature a tilt/telescopic steering wheel, door handles and control knobs large enough to be operated with gloves. The glovebox is designed big enough to hold a thermos, and the center console is large enough for a laptop or for file storage.
The SR trim level is available in double cab or CrewMax, and all three bed sizes. It features 18-inch steel wheels, low/high LED headlights with auto high-beam, LED running lights, cloth fabric seats, heated power-adjustable mirrors, 6/9-speaker audio system, with SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth with streaming audio, 8-inch touchscreen audio multimedia, Smart-Key System with push-button start, Toyota safety sense 2.5, and rearview camera.
Each trim adds more equipment and features to the previous trim. The SR5 trims get 9-speaker audio system as standard, 18-inch aluminum wheels, power sliding rear window, tow/haul and tow+ driving modes, class IV tow package with integrated trailer brake controller, and LED fog lights. Available packages include TRD Sport and TRD off-road.
Limited Double Cab and CREWMAX, available with short and standard beds, get equipment upgrades such as 20-inch aluminum wheels, 14-inch touchscreen audio multimedia, leather steering wheel, body-colored power folding mirrors with auto-dimming and turn signal lights, blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert and trailer merge warning, 8-way power front seats, front and rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, leatherette seats, heated and ventilated front seats, 32.2-gallon fuel tank, and integrated navigation with voice activation. There is also an available TRD off-road package.
The Platinum Crew Max includes 20-inch dark alloy wheels, memory-enabled driver's seat, leather trimmed 10-way power front seats, heated steering wheel with power tilt and telescoping, dark chrome grille surround, 12.3-inch configurable digital meter gauge, power sunroof, upgraded premium JBL stereo with 12-speakers, and metal-appearance interior. Available options are adaptive variable suspension and load leveling rear height control air-suspension.
The unique 1794 Edition has similar features of the Platinum but updates the interior styling with brown leather seating and wood accents and adds trailer backup guide system with straight path assist. On the exterior, a unique chrome billet-style grille is included with other chrome accents.
The Tundra offers a very comprehensive set of standard safety features; front-seat side airbags are standard on all models, along with roll-sensing 1st and 2nd row side-curtain airbags and front seats knee airbag. Four-wheel disc brakes with vehicle stability control are standard on all Trims. The Tundra also features standard trailer sway control and brake override technology. It utilizes the truck's stability control system to detect unintended side-to-side movement at the rear wheels. Should the system detect movement, the truck's anti-lock brake system is used to counteract yaws and prevent jack-knifing. A trailer brake controller allows the driver to control the amount of brake-boost applied to the trailer's electric brakes when the driver applies the vehicle's brakes. Toyota safety sense 2.5 includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full speed range dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, road sign assist, and automatic high beams.
