Toyota GR86
The GR86 was designed by Toyota to deliver a track-ready performance vehicle at an accessible price point. It possesses both sport-tuned handling and suspension, with a coupe-style body providing both the aesthetic and feel one would expect when buying a sports car.
The GR86 comes with a 2.4L boxer engine on all trim levels, which produces 228 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft of torque. The consumer can choose to pair this engine with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, with the powertrains achieving 22 MPG or 24 MPG respectively.
The 2026 Toyota GR86 is offered in three trim levels: Base, Premium, and Yuzu Edition. The base trim comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, auto LED headlights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an 8-inch touchscreen display, a 6-speaker audio system, a limited slip differential, sport bucket seats, keyless entry, and a rearview camera.
The Premium trim adds a rear lip spoiler, directionally adaptive headlights, 18-inch black wheels, heated front seats, leather upholstery, sport pedals, blind spot monitors, and an upgraded 8-speaker sound system.
The Yuzu edition of the GR86 is a limited production trim which provides a unique appearance package including painted calipers, colored rocker panel extensions, and a unique yellow exterior paint which it comes exclusively in.
The GR86 includes many standard safety features such as anti-lock brakes and traction/stability control which can be switched off for performance driving. It also comes standard with seven airbags, including side curtain airbags and dual-stage advanced driver and passenger airbags. Additional standard safety features on all versions of the GR86 include lane departure warning, forward collision mitigation, and a driver attention alert.
