Jeep Wrangler
The Wrangler is a 4-door SUV but is as a 2-door for both the Sport and Rubicon trim levels.
The base model Wrangler comes standard with the popular 3.6L V6 engine making 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-feet of torque to either a 6-speed manual transmission or 8-speed automatic. All the other engines are only available in conjunction with the 8-speed automatic. A 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 270 horsepower and a whopping 295 lb.-ft of torque. The all mighty 470 horsepower 6.4L hemi V8 is only available in the 392.
Jeep's Command Trac Four-wheel drive system is standard across the lineup. Electronic trailer-sway control is standard, and the optional Trailer-Tow and Heavy-Duty Electrical package brings a Class II hitch receiver, a 240-amp alternator, a 700-amp battery and auxiliary switches. The maximum tow rating is 2000 pounds for the 2-door and 3500 for the 4-door.
Standard features include hill hold control, 3 skid plates, 2 tow hooks, 17-inch wheels, a 60-40 rear seat, an 8-speaker sound system, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, HD Radio, 2 12V DC power outlets, 3 USB ports, mobile hotspot, wireless device connectivity, and push button start.
The Sahara adds an HD suspension, hill decent control, heated power mirrors, LED headlights and daytime running lights, LED fog lights, 18-inch wheels, heated front seats, automatic climate control, a 120V AC power outlet, 7 USB ports and forward collision mitigation.
The Rubicon and 392 switch to an off-road suspension. The 392 obtains many desirable features such as a winch, heated power front seats, leather upholstery, a 9-speaker sound system, voice activated navigation with real-time traffic and weather, a ground view camera, a heated leather steering wheel, rear parking sensors, forward collision mitigation and rear collision warning.
