Mazda CX-30
For 2026 the Mazda CX-30 offers eight different trim levels: S, S Select Sport, S Preferred, S Aire Edition, S Carbon Edition, S Premium, Turbo Aire Edition, Turbo Premium Plus. All trims come exclusively in all-wheel drive.
The 2026 Mazda CX-30 provides a choice of two potent engines; both paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The naturally aspirated 2.5L 4-cylinder engine provides 186 horsepower with 186 lb-ft of torque; noting that its immediate throttle response provides confident and predictable power for daily commutes and highway entry without any turbo lag. For the driving enthusiast seeking more power, a turbocharged engine is offered on the top-tier trims. This upgrade delivers a substantial boost in power, achieving up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque with premium fuel. This makes the CX-30 one of the quickest in its class, ideal for a more dynamic and engaging drive.
Despite the relatively powerful engine, fuel economy remains good, the EPA ratings for the non-turbo CX-30 receives fuel-economy estimates of 24 city, 31 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined. For CX-30s with the turbocharged engine, those EPA estimates change to 22 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined.
The base S CX-30 comes standard with LED headlights, taillights and daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, body-colored power side mirrors, automatic headlights, auto high-beam, and keyless entry with push button start. Inside, the CX-30 comes with steering wheel mounted controls for the cruise control and stereo, an 8.8-inch center display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch LCD gauge cluster, voice activated infotainment playing through an 8-speaker stereo, 2 USB ports, Bluetooth, a rearview camera, lane departure warning, forward collision mitigation with front pedestrian detection, rear collision warning, driver attention alert, and adaptive cruise control with traffic stop-go.
Stepping up to the S Select Sport trim and above further elevate the experience with an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat complete with 2-way power lumbar support, memory function for the driver's seat and exterior mirrors, heated front seats, 18-inch alloy wheels. It also adds a host of comfort and style features such as automatic dual-zone climate control, leatherette-trimmed seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear selector.
The S Preferred trim adds a sunroof and roof side rails. Technology upgrades at this level include a 10.25-inch touchscreen display, front and rear parking sensors, and rear collision mitigation.
S Aire Edition is style-focused for buyers who want exclusive aesthetics, offering a unique visual identity both inside and out without needing the more powerful engine.
The S Carbon Edition introduces and adds an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a premium 12-speaker sound system, and a garage door transmitter.
For top-tier luxury, the S Premium adds a power liftgate, directionally adaptive auto-leveling headlamps, a head-up display, and surround/aerial view camera systems.
Finally, the top two trims are the Turbo Aire Edition and Turbo Premium Plus, both offer a performance-enhanced turbocharged engine. Noting that the Turbo Premium Plus further incorporates an auto-dimming driver door mirror and hands-on steering assist/lane centering.
Standard safety features across the line up include hill hold control, Smart Brake Support (SBS), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Lane-Keep Assist System (LAS), Driver Attention Alert (DAA), auto high-beam, vehicle exit warning, and 10 airbags.
